By Air:Pakyong Airport is located 35 km away from the state capital of Gangtok. Bagdogra Airport is located 124kms away from Gangtok and has direct flights available from all major cities. Taxi services are available outside the airport itself. Helicopter service is also available from Bagdogra to Gangtok which can shorten the travel time of roughly 4 hours to just 20 minutes.
By Train:The closest train stations to Sikkim are New Jalpaiguri and Siliguri, in West Bengal. Taxi services can be availed outside these stations too.
By Road:NH-31A is the connecting highway to Sikkim and it is built along the meandering Teesta river which provides you with a taste of what’s to come when you reach Sikkim.
