Our Story

A college curiosity became a promise to the hills

Darjeeling Trips began on 18 June 2017, while Manish Giri was studying in Siliguri. What started as a simple love for exploring the hills slowly became something deeper

He saw travellers searching online, booking blindly, and still feeling lost when roads changed, weather turned, or support was needed. He also saw local drivers, guides and homestays who deserved better opportunities

So DT was built from a small rented room with one honest idea: make mountain travel feel personal, clear and cared for

College days in Siliguri, weekend routes, hill roads and a growing love for travel

Manish Giri began DT from a small rented room with one simple idea — travel with local care

First 100 travellers
